What is melamine?
Melamine is a kind of plastic, normally it is in powder form. It composes of alfa-cellulose, melamine crystal and formaldehyde solvent.
Properties of melamine are heat resistance, hardness, durability and break resistance. It is safe for temperature up to 120º C.
Melamine has been widely used in many industries. Due to its harmless nature, it is widely used to produce kitchen utensils and tableware such as plates, bowls, cups and spoons etc.
What is high-grade melamine tableware?
A)
Durability - it is safe for automatic dishwashers, resistant to breaking, chipping and cracking.
B)
Heat resistance - it can be boiled up to 120º C, therefore, suitable for use in hospitals, hotels, canteens, dormitories and restaurants.
C)
Hygienic - free from germs
D)
Slower heat transfer - food stays warm longer, and friendlier to holder when it contains hot food.
E)
No reaction to other chemical substances - product quality and color remain unchanged even after contacting chemical substances.

The manufacture process:
First step-----molding
You will see there are two machine here, one is hydraulic machine, another is High frequency preheating machine.
When we begin the production, we need:
1. Weigh the material
2. Put the powder in the high frequency preheating machine to clot the powder
3. Put the clotted powder on the mold, press and molding, then add the protective powder on the tableware, which make it more bright and luster, look like ceramic.
This is plain practice
4. When you want to decal on the tableware, there is two more step: Put the decal on the tableware and press again to make the decal fit with the tableware, second step is sprinkle a little protective powder on the tableare, to make its' surface more brighting and can protect the decal keep away from falling off.
Second step-first QC(initial check)
This step will wash out some defective products
Third step-grinding and polishing
When the product is shaping from the mold, there is a circle rough edge, we will use the grinding machine to smooth the rough edge(we will grinding two time: Rough grinding and refine grinding.
After grinding step, we will Polish the edge the surface to make the tableware more shiny.
Fourth step-----QC
In this step, we will wash out any defect happen in grinding and polishing, as well as the defective issue which not found out in first QC.
Fifth step----Packing
We always use the good quality carton to packing the products. We will pack some PCS in the inner box then put all inner box in the carton.
